Artemis BJJ Women’s Camp

We are super happy to welcome you all to our first Artemis BJJ Women’s Camp, in collaboration with the Empower Grappling Collective!

When: 3rd August 2025

Where: Artemis BJJ, 7 Easton Rd, BS5 0BY (see here for detailed directions).

Food: Bakehouse is delicious and less than 10 mins walk from the gym. Then across the road from us, there’s Wiper & True for great burgers and beer.

A relaxed, welcoming, affordable camp with a super friendly and highly experienced team of talented female instructors!

Instructors will include Helen Harper (MMA legend with UFC experience), Beata Gozdziaszek (Roger Gracie black belt and powerhouse competitor), Emily Eyles (from Pedro Bessa Bristol) and Hannah Garrett (black belt based in Liverpool).

There will be a whole day of training on Sunday, with both classes and open mat time. We’ll get together in the evening for a relaxed social at a pub or restaurant, venue TBC (or send us your suggestions!)

Tickets for our camps are non-refundable as the proceeds are used to pay for the venue and the instructors. However, you can of course sell that ticket on if it turns out you can no longer make an event.
